Hal Pomeranz is the founder and technical lead of Deer Run Associates, a firm specializing in system and network connectivity and security solutions. He has been active in the system and network management/security field for twenty years, and is a regular speaker and organizer for technical conferences and professional gatherings. He was the recipient of the 2001 SAGE Outstanding Achievement Award for his teaching and leadership in the field of System Administration.
