I'm beginning to like the idea of merit badges. In keeping with the philosophy
of Unix and modern software development, they're modular.

By having merit badges we wouldn't have to define what a system administrator
is or does. A person would only have to claim to be a sys-admin and then show
the merit badges to establish the domain(s) of competance.
