Is it just me, or does anyone else notice the irony in this proposal?
It was only a short time ago, in fact it is continuing, that the EU
protested mightily that US privacy laws were insufficient to meet the
European standards. If this proposal is adopted, there will no longer
be any privacy in Europe. As Scott McNealy is purported to have said,
"Get used to it."
