A Sun Ultra Enterprise 2 with a keyboard and with no monitor has been
acquired.

Several attemps to use a Windows PC connected to the Sun's serial port A as
the console have failed (absolutely no characters have ever been displayed
on the PC "console").  We have tried both TeraTerm (allows sending a "break"
to the target) and HyperTerminal, serial connectors with and without
null-modem adapters, terminal types VT100, ANSI, and "autodetect", the Sun
keyboard plugged in and unplugged.  

The question is: what must we do to establish console operations on this
machine?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
