[SAGE] prtdiag, prtconf did not reveal 2nd nic

What does it mean if the commands prtdiag and
prtconf | grep hme both did not reveal a 2nd hme
device on a server? A physical inspection of the
server did in fact reveal the 2nd nic and a plumb
of the nic worked. Did I miss a command syntax or
there some other problem?
