Re: Evil Interview Questions (was Re: [SAGE] Coolest thing?)



That reminds me of one of my stupid moves in the too-recent past.  At
a certain unnamed dot-com, I picked up a 21-inch Sun monitor to move
it from one area to another.  Started moving it-- carrying it in my
arms, rolling down the hallway on a skateboard.  Hit a bump that
stopped the board, I kept going.  Tripped and fell, monitor still in
arms.

Somehow, I managed to twist around so that the monitor fell on me
instead of on the tile (I couldn't have afforded to replace the
equipment, but I had medical insurance!).  No permanent damage to
either monitor or me, though I had a nasty bruise on my leg for a
month or so.

Talk about embarrassing.  Now I only skateboard with my own expensive
computer hardware <g>.
