Re: Evil Interview Questions (was Re: [SAGE] Coolest thing?)
That reminds me of one of my stupid moves in the too-recent past. At
a certain unnamed dot-com, I picked up a 21-inch Sun monitor to move
it from one area to another. Started moving it-- carrying it in my
arms, rolling down the hallway on a skateboard. Hit a bump that
stopped the board, I kept going. Tripped and fell, monitor still in
arms.
Somehow, I managed to twist around so that the monitor fell on me
instead of on the tile (I couldn't have afforded to replace the
equipment, but I had medical insurance!). No permanent damage to
either monitor or me, though I had a nasty bruise on my leg for a
month or so.
Talk about embarrassing. Now I only skateboard with my own expensive
computer hardware <g>.
