I've been told that if I find anyone at LISA with a SSBI who needs a job, I 
should handcuff them and bring them back, regardless of what they know. Will we 
be competing for the same people? :-)

The BI (Background Investigation) in SSBI takes time and resources. I hope you 
find the sweet spot between what you are willing to spend on that BI, and what 
you'll get in return. 

A bit more on point: be prepared to react to new gadgets. Suddenly people have 
cell phones that have cameras in them. In our building they are considered 
contraband, a cause for a security incident. Be prepared to post in very plain 
english what employees, visitors, and vendors can and cannot bring in. In the 
'80s, we weren't allowed to bring in radios.
