Just to be absolutely clear here, I was *not* trying to make the case of 
contractor vs full time employee. I was only trying to illustrate why it 
doesn't make sense (at least to me) to pay contractors to "show me their 
skills" whereas it might make sense to have a full time candidate "show 
me their skills".
