I think this would be an excellent idea.

I am still at a loss for words to describe how I feel about this.

Chuck had a wealth of knowledge in a wide variety of areas, and
was very free in sharing his experiences with me and many others in
the community. He was more skilled and talented in many areas that I
consider to be my own long-term specialties, but was always helpful
in his responses and never once made me feel like he thought I was
being foolish, even if I had given him good reason to do so.

I don't recall ever meeting him in person, but what exchanges
I've had with him electronically made him one of the most valuable
people I knew, and in my book that put him right up with many names
that are much better known in the community.

He will be very sorely missed. I know this is a very sad day for
his family, but in way he made me feel like I was a part of his
extended family.

This is a very, very sad day for the community.

I think it would be a wonderful idea if we can make something
positive come out of this.
