Re: [SAGE] Chuck Yerkes has passed away

I wanted to thank the many folks who have been sending comments back
about Chuck, and the suggestions for a memorial for him. I have been
collecting the wonderful responses from the SAGE list and forwarding
them to Andrew Downie who is managing the Wiki for Chuck Yerkes. There
are comments from other of Chuck's active lists which are kindly being
collected by others.

For folks who have asked for a postal address to send condolences, I
have been responding only to those individual's requests, but am glad
to continue doing so. Just ask...

It is very telling of the strength of a community, by the support of
its members, and the respect shown to each other. This is not just
true for Chuck, but for all of you who have and continue to make it
strong.
