[SAGE] EMC SRDF/A vs. Veritas VVR

As part of a SOx DR plan, we're considering two possible solutions to
the problem of long-distance data replication. The first is the EMC
SRDF/A product. It works directly with the EMC frame and does
asynchronous block replication at the physical volume level.

The VVR product (Veritas Volume Replicator), by comparison, works with the
Veritas Volume Manager to replicate Veritas volumes over a long-haul link
either synchronously or asynchronously. It functions at the OS level.

I'm looking for feedback from people who have experience with either
solution to this problem. We're looking to replicate 180GB/day to start
but it may grow to 3TB next year.
