When an acquaintance at Google asked "How could we get you to come work
here?" I answered "Not rejecting my resume twice would have been a
great start -- when I applied I would have been interested, but since
then I've moved on to other things."
In all fairness, Google has way too many resumes, and I'm not certain
any company could deal well with the flood of applicants.
Of two recent conrtract jobs, one I got through a personal acquaintance
and the other was actually from SAGE-jobs.
