Application support. I'm in an ASIC design shop, so we have whatever
OS the vendors support for the tools to design ASICs with. Right now
it's Solaris 8 (fading rapidly) and RH 7.2/3 on 32 bit linux, RHEL3 on
AMD Opterons. All with LSF, Netapps for NFS, etc. And NIS.
