Sounds great - but I assume that if people from so many different
disciplines can talk with each other, we should be able to participate
at some level of abstraction?  On the other hand, I don't always find
a welcome ear among my IT colleagues for the "systems" and "process"
approach.  Most that I meet just "build solutions", "fix problems" and
go on to the next thing.

Or were there islands with water purifiers, lithographers, and nuclear 
engineers, each with their own peers?
