Re: [SAGE] Handheld devices (phone, PDA, remote access)
I hate the Blazer web browser that comes with the Palm Treos. I use the
Opera Mini browser which supports RSS feeds. This web browser is a
thousand times better. You will need to install Java software WebSphere
Everyplace Micro Environment Technology for your Palm Device. Although
it says it is only supported on Palm Treo 600 and 650s, I have it
running on my Treo 700p. You can get it at the following URL:
http://www.palm.com/us/support/jvm/
After you install the Java software get into Prefs and scroll down to
Other and select IBM Java VM. From there you will need to increase the
Set Memory Maximum to 32Mb and Set Maximum Java Thread Stack Size to a 32Kb.
You can then install the Opera Mini browser from the following URL:
http://www.operamini.com/download/ if you have a high bandwidth device
you should get into Menu -> Tools -> Settings and check the Higher image
quality box then Save.
The Opera Mini browser is the best I have seen for the Treos.

I know the Blackberry and Trio do the PDA portion, but I'm not sure about the remote access part. I've also seen ramblings about the Sidekick.
