If you have questions related to backups or network storage, I would
encourage you to at least check out the site at backupcentral.com.
Curtis Preston runs this site, and among other things I believe it's
his official site where clarifications and updates are collected for
his O'Reilly books "Backup & Recovery" and "Using SANs and NAS".

Signup is free, and you've got your choice of mailing lists, web
forums, or USENET newsgroups, all cross-connected -- you choose the
interface you prefer.

There's also his blog, and the wiki pages.

Curtis is not the only person I know of who is knowledgeable in this
field, but he is one of the most experienced, and he's put together
one of the best collections of information and people in the field
that I know of.

Of course, this should not be your only resource, but I would
encourage you to at least include it as part of your research.

Disclaimer: I may be a bit biased towards Curtis, as I was a
co-worker of his at Collective Technologies, and I was an uncredited
reviewer of both books.
