Seems to me like the winning strategy is to keep a backup copy at home, on
a hard drive that's as physical secure as you require. You could keep it
in a safe deposit box and bring it home once a month to synch up with your
off-site repository, for example; or just leave it under your desk, if you
think the odds of someone breaking in and stealing your hard drive is low. 
(Or somewhere in between, e.g. keep it in a simple safe at home.)

As long as you have two copies, the second copy doesn't necessarily have
to meet all of your requirements, as long as you can use it to create a
new copy that does meet all of your requirements if the first copy gets
destroyed.
