Only the host MIB? So it wouldn't be possible to add MIBs or use NetSNMP's "exec" directive to modify an OID to monitor the response time of an LDAP or web server? While making sure hosts are running is good, things tend to be strung together a lot (proxy->CMS->database) and it would be useful to create dependencies between hosts and services.

The older version of Nagios that I'm looking after has host dependencies, but I've always thought that host-service would be a nice addition. Haven't had a chance to look at whether anything out there (especially FOSS) does such a thing.
