[SAGE] SMS gateway services

Howdy-

Really naive question, but...I'm looking to find an easy way to mostly  
receive SMS messages from random cell phones (and perhaps reply to  
them). I'm guessing there are services one can sign up to that will  
gateway SMS to email for you for hopefully a reasonable cost. The goal  
is to allow someone sends a text message to some number and have one  
of my systems receive that message (e.g. via email). The ability to  
reply to that message (again, I send email and the person receives the  
message on their phone) would be swell but is not as critical. I'm  
anticipating a relatively low volume of traffic.

Does anyone have any experience/recommendations for how to go about  
doing this?  Thanks!
