The problem is that both Bill and Adam were not that constructive
in the way they presented their criticism. Yes, they had valid
points. But their reactions were pretty much universally negative
and did not acknowledge the positive aspects of the work.
They could just as easily acknowledged those positive aspects,
and then pointed out that some additional work was required, and then
perhaps specified what that additional work was. Several other
people on this thread have done exactly that.
I guess we've all gotten up on the wrong side of the bed lately,
because I've had this problem myself within the last couple of days,
which is why I am now particularly sensitive to this issue.
